Town twinning aims

The aims of the East Renfrewshire Town Twinning Association (ERTTA)

(a) To promote friendship and understanding between the residents of East Renfrewshire and the residents of Albertslund in Denmark, and with any other places with which the Association may form twinning or friendship links

(b) To encourage visits by individuals, families and groups from the twinned areas

(c) To promote and broaden the mutual understanding of the cultural, recreational, educational and social activities of the twinned communities

(d) To give support, advice, and where possible, financial assistance to groups or individuals for activities connected with twinning, and for this purpose, engage in fundraising activities

Membership is open to all organisations, families and individuals in East Renfrewshire who support the objectives of the Association

There are 4 categories of membership:

• Individual (£2 per annum)

• Family (£5 per annum)

• Group (£10 per annum)

• Ex-officio

The Association shall retain the right to reject any application for membership or to withdraw membership on any grounds which, to the Association, appear reasonable.
