The East Renfrewshire Regeneration Plan 2005-2008

As a result a Regeneration Plan has been developed that focuses on improving the lives of residents in Barrhead, Neilston, Mearns and Thornliebank.

The Regeneration plan aims to tackle poverty and deprivation and improving quality of life, by helping people into jobs, improving health and helping young people to achieve the best they can at school.
