Strategic Environmental Assessment
Strategic Environmental Assessment
The Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005 requires that all plans, programmes and strategies, prepared by public organisations and which are determined to have significant environmental impact, undergo a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA).
The SEA provides a systematic process for identifying, predicting, reporting and mitigating the environmental impacts of a proposed plan, programme or strategy.
A Scoping Report and a draft Environmental Report have been produced to accompany the Candidate Core Paths Plan. These reports are important supporting documents to the Candidate Core Paths Plan and as such all documents are being circulated in tandem.
The two reports here require Acrobat reader which is available at this link as a free download. It is recommended that, unless you have a high speed internet connection, these files be viewed offline. To download these maps, right-click on the links below, Select "Save Target As..." and chose a location to store the files on your local computer.
Please note the file sizes of these documents: they will take some time to download on a 56k modem connection.
