NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL PLAN

Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997

East Renfrewshire Local Plan

On 19 th November 2003, East Renfrewshire Council resolved to adopt the above-named Local Plan, as modified by the Council.

Certified copies of the plan and of the resolution together with certified copies of the reports of all local inquiries held and of the Council’s statements prepared following the consideration of such reports, including the statement of the planning authority’s decision with respect to each objection containing reasons for the decision, have been deposited at the locations listed below and on the Council’s website at www.eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk/localplan.

The deposited documents are available for inspection free of charge.

The Plan became operative on 19th November 2003, but if any person aggrieved by the Plan desires to question its validity on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997, or that any requirement of the said Part II or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to adoption of the plan, he may, within six weeks from 25 th November 2003 make an application to the Court of Session under section 238 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997.
