A lot can changes in your life when you reach your 60s: retirement can mean you’ll have more time on your hands to spend with family and do the things you’ve always wanted to, but it also means the way you receive your income will change. You’ll also be thinking more about your health and ways in which you can stay active as you age.
This section aims to give you information on these topics and give you an idea of the variety of advice and support that’s out there for people over the age of 60.

Age Concern Eastwood
Operated entirely by volunteers, this is the local branch of charity Age Concern Scotland. They provide the following services for older people in the Eastwood Area:
- Advice and Information on problems, rights and benefits, etc
- Wheelchair issues on short term loans
- Home visiting service
- Day Centres (with transport to and from home)

Citizens’ Advice Bureau
CAB can advise on a wide variety of matters including housing, pensions and your rights.
