ParentLine Scotland is a confidential, telephone helpline for anyone caring for a child in Scotland. You can call about any problem, however big or small. The helpline service is provided by Children 1st.

This site offers information and support to families with disabled children and can put you in touch with people in a similar situation to you. You can create your own profile or contact someone who is already listed, though to do this you will have to pay a small joining fee (at last check this was £5 per year).
Whizz Kidz
A dedicated site to help kids become more independent. The website has an adult free area ‘Kidz Zone’ where views and jokes are shared along with helpful information about education and social life.
