The Place @ East Renfrewshire Youth Health Service
The Place offers advice and support on all aspects of young people’s health – not just sexual and reproductive health. This service is for any young person between 12 and 20 years of age.
You can talk to the dedicated team of doctors, nurses and youth workers in complete confidence about anything that worries you: stress, alcohol and drugs or healthy eating. Workshops are also a regular feature, covering themes like self defence, art and design, drugs, body image and handling stress.
The Place is open every Thursday from 4pm-6pm in both Clarkston Clinic and Sandyford Barrhead. No appointment is necessary, just drop in. They have a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, youth workers and reception staff to help you.
They offer a confidential service which gives advice information and support to all young people on all aspects of health including sexual, reproductive and emotional health.

Get free condoms with a C-card
A C-Card entitles you to free condoms at certain sites, including Sandyford East Renfrewshire. You will need to register for this first. A list of local sites is available on the Your Sexual Health website.
