You can also now be married by a Registrar in venues outwith the registration office, e.g. local hotels. Alternatively you may wish to be married at another venue within the district. Giffnock Marriage Suite
At the opposite end of Eastwood Park, attached to the council headquarters is the Giffnock marriage suite.
Popular for many years with local couples and many others from across the west of Scotland, it is tastefully decorated and offers excellent opportunities for photographs of the bride and groom in Eastwood Park, especially when the banks of rhododendrons are in bloom.
Barrhead Marriage Suite
Set in a traditional blond sandstone villa, in its own grounds, Barrhead marriage suite is in a secluded spot, close to the heart of Barrhead.
There are excellent photographic opportunities in our walled garden, especially the happy couple on our special "love seat".
Eastwood House
This 19th century mansion house is set in picturesque Eastwood Park in Giffnock and is the former home of Lord Weir and before that the Earls of Eglington.The Eglington Suite is your location for a stylish wedding in the tranquil atmosphere of Eastwood Park, and one of the most attractive public buildings in Giffnock.
Eastwood House can also be hired for your reception. That means the only times you have to step outside are to have your photographs taken in the grounds of the park and when you head off on your honeymoon.
