Police courts and criminal justice
We provide criminal justice services, including enforcing Community Service Orders and working with offenders. We also set up and manage community service schemes, probation, diversion from prosecution and aftercare schemes, as well as supporting the victims of crime.
We co-ordinate the council-wide crime prevention strategy by working closely with all council departments and the police.
