Private hire driver
Individuals who wish to drive an East Renfrewshire licensed private hire car will require to obtain a private hire driver’s licence. A private hire driver’s licence does not entitle the holder to drive East Renfrewshire licensed taxis.

If you drive a private hire car, your passengers must pre-book their journey - you cannot pick up passengers in the street.
