Repairs to communal areas

Where repairs are required to communal areas, i.e. all common boundary fences, paths, rainwater goods, roofs, roughcasting, chimney’s, common entrance and door entry systems, close landing lights and windows, common TV aerials these should be reported to the Housing Call Centre on:

Opening hours:
08.45 – 16.45 Monday to Thursday and
08.45 – 15.55 on a Friday.  

For emergencies i.e. burst pipes, no special heating, no running cold water (out of normal working hours) the number to phone is the free phone number: 0808 003 1601.

Where deemed to be common, all privately owned households are issued with an account for the proportional share of the repair to the common area.

This amount is increased by a 5% management fee and VAT (at the current rate of 17.5%).
