Strategic Housing Investment Plan

SHIP 2008

East Renfrewshire's Strategic Housing Investment Plan has recently been submitted to the Scottish Government for assessment.  As part of the new Strategic Housing Investment Framework (SHIF), local authorities are required to supplement their Local Housing Strategy (LHS) with a Strategic Housing Investment Plan (SHIP).

The East Renfrewshire SHIP has been developed in partnership with key local stakeholders.  This plan reflects the affordable housing investment priorities for the local area, as set out in the LHS and annual LHS update reports, and provides detail about how these will be realised at the local level over the period 2009/10 to 2013/14.  The plan also takes account of priorities set out in other key strategies such as East Renfrewshire's Community and Regeneration Plans.
