Owners should have a set of title deeds at the time of purchase of their property, as they outline the owners responsibility to carry out repairs of a communal nature / or if there are any improvements to be carried out the deed will confirm the information.
Copies of Title deeds & the Deed of Conditions are available from your solicitor, or alternatively can be purchased at the land registrar’s office in Glasgow. Contact details are below.
These are most important when there are common repairs being carried out and if grant award is made a copy of the title deed is required as part of the grant application form.
