The current system is subjected to change due to the new legislation and procedures which is due from the Scottish Government.
At present the system is “income assessed”, with the option to accept a 50% grant award where the owner does not wish to declare their income / expenditure levels. Again this may change once the new legislation / procedures are advised to us.
In the meantime, we are only offering owners lead pipe replacement grants (waiting lists open at the moment), and where “Statutory Notices” are placed on buildings for repair issues / dangerous buildings, grant assistance is offered to the owners of the property.
Where owners are in mixed tenure blocks, grant assistance is offered where major refurbishment work is being undertaken at the block e.g. re-roofing, rendering, insulated render systems, door and door entry installations.
