Pay for Council Services

You can pay anytime day or night

You can now pay your council tax, rent and a host of other council services online or by phone.

You can pay for any council service where you have received an invoice e.g. home care, housing support, music tuition, wraparound nursery care, school bus passes, trade waste, commercial rents, housing repairs, hall and school lets, football pitch bookings and lots more.

You can phone our automated phone line (0141 577 3030)* to pay. All you need is your debit/credit card and account reference number. Please note that if you pay by credit card you must pay a 2% administration charge.

*The automated and internet service will be offline for 15 minutes each day (between 11.10 and 11.25pm).

You can still pay by all the usual methods including:By Phone

You can make payments using a debit or credit card by either using our new Automated Telephone Payment System (ATP) on 0141 577 3030- lines are available 24 hours, 7 days a week or by phoning 0141 577 3002 (from 8am to 6pm- who deal with your payment personally).

In person

You can pay by cash, postal order or cheque in person at these offices:

Collection Hall, Council Headquarters, Eastwood Park, Rouken Glen Road, Giffnock, East Renfrewshire G46 6UG.

You can send your payments by post. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to East Renfrewshire Council and sent to : Director of Finance, Council Offices, 211 Main Street, Barrhead, East Renfrewshire, G78 1SY.
