Overview

The £2.3m Eastwood Pool and Games Hall, which is partly-funded by the Big Lottery Fund, is next to Eastwood High School in Capelrig Road, Newton Mearns.

The facility consists of a swimming pool, a games hall and two male and two female changing rooms with lockers. The pool is 20m long by 8m wide. It is 0.9 metres deep at the shallow end and 1.5 metres at the deep end.

The games hall comprises four badminton courts, with sufficient floor space for five-a-side football, indoor hockey, basketball and other team sports.

Games Hall

The games hall is available for casual bookings between 6pm and 9pm Monday to Friday, and between 9am and 3pm at weekends.

During school and public holidays these timetables may be subject to change.

Please check our notice boards or at reception for details.

Our staff can help with enquiries and bookings between 4pm and 8.45pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am until 2.45pm at weekends.

Hygiene

In the interest of hygiene, please do not enter the Pool hall and beyond the matted areas if you are not participating in swimming activities.

Your co-operation helps to maintain the cleanliness of these areas and minimises the risk of infection caused by outdoor footwear.
