Barrhead Sports Centre pool is open 7 days a week and provides something for the whole family, including a 25 metre pool and a teaching pool.

Ladies only sessions

Swimming: Wednesday between 8pm and 9pm.
Please note that swimming pool is screened off from the public during this session.

Special Needs Family Swimming Session

On the last Sunday of every month the pool is available for families who have relatives with special needs. The sessions are held on a Sunday from 1pm until 2.40pm.

Please note the entry is free.

This session is kindly sponsored by the Eastwood Rotary Club.

Facilities for Families

Within our changing village there are family-changing cubicles and baby-changing rooms.

Swimming Safely Together

To ensure children are as safe as possible in our pools we have implemented national safety guidelines for children

  • In the main pool and small pool there should be one adult for every swimmer under 4 years old.

  • In the small pool two (0.5 metres) there should be one adult for every two swimmers under 4 years old.

  • In all pools, there should be one adult for every two children aged between 4 and 7.

  • In all pools there should be no child under the age of 8 years old unaccompanied by an adult.

  • If you need further information please contact a member of staff who will be happy to assist.

Remember

During the school holidays, kids under the age of 16 can swim for FREE!
