Swimming Lessons
Welcome to East Renfrewshire’s Ocean Orbit Swim Scheme.
Each level of the Ocean Orbit Scheme is based around a space theme to give the individual progression incentives while learning to swim. Different characters will be introduced along the way in order that the individual can identify their level within the scheme. Each character will guide the individual to achieve aquatic objectives so that they can progress to each new level.
Entry into the Swim Scheme is 3 years old and progresses up to 12 years old and our levels are called, Bubble, Splash, Snork, Vapour, Cosmo and Starz.
To apply to join the Swim Scheme please complete an application form at any of our four East Renfrewshire Pools - Barrhead Sports Centre, Eastwood High School, Eastwood Park Leisure and Neilston Leisure Centre.
Please note that due to the popularity of this programme, each centre currently has a waiting list.
