What is a Leisure Card?
A Leisure Card entitles you to discounts of up to 50%
on a range of sports and activities within East Renfrewshire.
You can instantly save money on every admission to the following:
Swimming Pools
Gyms
Health Suites
Fitness Classes
Badminton
Squash
The Leisure Card also allows you to book your activities up to 7 days in
advance.
Where can I use it?
Your card can be used in all four of our facilities:
Barrhead Sports Centre
Eastwood Park Leisure
Neilston Leisure Centre
Eastwood High School Pool & Games Hall
Who can apply?
The Leisure Card is available to everyone.
How much does it cost?
The card is available at a range of prices:
Adult Residents of East Renfrewshire
An annual fee of £25.00.
Junior Residents of East Renfrewshire
FREE to anyone aged 18 and under.
Concession Residents of East Renfrewshire
FREE to residents who are disabled, full time students, in receipt of council tax benefit or housing benefit.
60+ Residents of East Renfrewshire
An annual fee of £10.00.
Non-Residents
Non-Residents can also enjoy the full range of Leisure Card benefits and all of East Renfrewshire’s excellent facilities at an annual cost of £36.00, for all age groups.
How do I apply?
Application is easy, fill in the enclosed form and bring it, along with your appropriate documentation, to one of our facilities where a friendly member of our reception staff will help you complete the process, take your photo for our records and issue your card.
All concession and resident applications must be supported by appropriate documentation. See “Anything else I need to know?” section for more details.
How do I renew it?
The Leisure Card can be renewed annually for Adults, Juniors, 60+ and non-residents. Concession Leisure Cards are renewed on a 6 monthly basis apart from students who need to renew every academic year.

Anything else I need to know?
When applying, please ensure you bring along the correct documentation so that your card can be issued to you without delay. Residents should bring documentation to show proof of age, address and, if relevant, concessions. (These may include Driving Licence, Utility bill, Passport, Birth Certificate, National Entitlement Card, Matriculation Card or an official letter proving council tax or housing benefit.) Benefits will be referenced against East Renfrewshire Council’s official records.
Please note that to recieve the leisure card a photo of the cardholder must be taken at the point of application.
