Chambers of Commerce make up the world’s largest business support organisation.

Chambers in Scotland

Membership is open to any firm or company, irrespective of size, from the country’s largest companies to the smallest retail and professional operations. The members of Scotland’s Chambers provide well over half the private-sector jobs in Scotland. Co-operative arrangements ensure that specialist services are available to all members, no matter the size of their local Chamber.

Local chambers

Two Chambers of Commerce work together with our Economic Development team to deliver local business support.

East Renfrewshire Chamber of Trade and Commerce, while not currently a member of the Scottish Chamber, is working towards full membership. Its members are businesses operating within the East Renfrewshire Council area. Meetings and events take place every month. Based in Paisley, Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce is a member of the Scottish Chamber and offers a full range of services to its members across the greater Renfrewshire area (East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire and Inverclyde).
