Overview

Barrhead Sports Centre is conveniently located on Barrhead Main Street and has ample free parking. This excellent facility has swimming pools, a games hall, squash courts, an amenities hall, a cafe and a gym. The Action Zone gym has 80 workstations and is one of the biggest and best-equipped gyms in the west of Scotland.

The Centre is a hub of activity and there is always something going on. The following clubs use our facilities for their club nights:

Public Holidays 2008

On public holidays the swimming pool will be closed. The Centre will open for gym customers only at the following times:

• 21st July: 9am to 3pm

• 26th September: 3pm to 10pm

• 29th September: 3pm to 10pm

• 25th December: Closed

• 26th December: Closed

Live Active exercise referral scheme

We work in partnership with Greater Glasgow Health Board to provide an exercise referral scheme for people in the local health board area.

Bookings

You can make a booking in person or by phone during our normal opening hours (please note: gym inductions should be booked in person).

Leisure Card holders or Action Zone members may book up to 7 days in advance. Non-card holders may book up to 2 days in advance.

Please give us at least 24 hours notice if you want to cancel a booking or you may be charged a fee equivalent to the cost of the activity.
